Info. What Tangent is, and how it works.
Info
Tangent is a catalogue of digital craft: websites, components, tools, visuals and the design engineers behind them. Every site links to its tangents, the related work you’d never find by searching, and each link says why.
Every entry is picked and filed by a person. Nothing goes live without a proper look.
Nobody can pay to get in. There’s one sponsor at a time, it sits in the sidebar, and it’s always labelled.
Spotted a broken link or a detail that’s off? Tell Tangent and it’ll get sorted.
Frequently asked questions
Why the name Tangent?
The best finds happen when you wander off. You come for one site and leave with five you didn’t know you needed. Every site here points to its tangents, so wandering off is the whole point.
How does a site get in?
Someone submits it, or Tangent finds it. Either way, a person looks at it, files it and writes its description. Submissions take a few days.
Can I pay to be featured?
No. The sponsor slot in the sidebar is the only paid spot. It’s always labelled and never changes what’s in the catalogue.
Do I need an account?
No, there are no accounts at all. Bookmarks live in your browser on this device, so clearing your browser data clears them too.
What’s Site of the day?
A different site from the catalogue every day, picked at random. Come back tomorrow for another.
What are tangents?
The related sites under every entry. Each comes with its reason, like “shares Pricing” or “built with React”.
Can my AI agent use Tangent?
Yes. Tangent has a free, read-only MCP server that works with Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, VS Code and more. The MCP page has the setup.
Something’s broken or wrong. What do I do?
Copy the email above and tell Tangent which site. Dead links come down fast.
How do I sponsor Tangent?
Head to the Sponsor page. One brand a week, booked by email.
