fx is an open-source coding agent written in Zig and shipped as a single native binary of under 7 MiB, built for research and for embedding inside larger systems. Its output reads more like a Unix shell than an IDE, tool schemas are kept short to save context, and the whole CLI also runs in the browser as WebAssembly through libfx. It is Apache-2.0 licensed, model-agnostic and still experimental, which suits engineers studying how small an agent harness can be.
