A fast, cross-platform terminal emulator that uses each platform's native UI and renders on the GPU.
Ghostty is a free, open-source terminal emulator by Mitchell Hashimoto that renders on the GPU and uses each platform's native interface, SwiftUI and AppKit on macOS and GTK on Linux. It aims to be fast and feature-rich without trading one for the other, with native tabs and splits, extensive configuration and libghostty, a library other apps can embed. Its homepage, an ASCII-art ghost inside a window, is a small lesson in giving a technical tool some character.
