Hover States
The home of alternative design, code and content on the world wide web.
Hover States is an archive of experimental web design, curated by Mike Guppy and Dan Powell since 2012, that looks for sites trying new things with interaction, design and content. Each entry is a short note on one idea, such as a fuzzy SVG typography effect, a hover toggle across landscape images or a node-and-text career map, with credits to the makers. Creative developers and designers looking for alternatives to standard conventions get a dated, steadily updated log of experiments.
