Prequel is a Mac screen recorder that does the first edit for you: it watches where you click and type, then opens an editor with zooms placed, your camera framed and a background applied. Fourteen layouts can change clip by clip, subtitles are transcribed on device and edited like text, and a teleprompter under the notch follows your voice. Designers recording product demos get hardware-encoded H.264 or HEVC exports at up to 4K from a native, Metal-composited app.
