Prompt Kit
Core building blocks for AI apps. High-quality, accessible, and customizable components for AI interfaces. Built with React, shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS.
prompt-kit is an open-source set of components for AI interfaces, built on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS with the same principles, but aimed at chat experiences and agents rather than general UI. It covers prompt inputs, messages, markdown, code blocks, reasoning and chain-of-thought views, tool calls, sources, file uploads, loaders and thinking bars, with guides for the Vercel AI SDK and OpenAI SDK. The Prompt Input and Chat Container pages are the place to start, followed by newer pieces such as the Feedback Bar and Text Shimmer.
