Scira is an AI search engine, created by Zaid Mukaddam, that splits a question into sub-questions, reads sources in parallel and cites the source behind each sentence, saying so when sources disagree. Every step of a run can be opened to see the queries, pages and reasoning, it offers eighteen built-in modes, and connected apps let it act as well as search. Its interface opens on an almost empty prompt, which makes it a useful study in showing AI work without clutter.
