Screen Studio

Screen Studio records the Mac screen and then does much of the editing work of a motion designer, now at version 4.0. It zooms automatically on clicks, smooths cursor movement so it feels filmed rather than captured, switches between camera and screen layouts with animated transitions, and lets you edit by transcript. It is used by people at Stripe, Notion and Framer, and several recorders in this directory position themselves as free alternatives to it.
