UI Labs

UI Labs is Mariana Castilho's small laboratory of experimental interface components, each shown live with a short note on the idea and what she would change. Experiments include a two-step popover, an action toolbar that changes state, a contextual toolbar, inline beta feedback, an elastic card and iOS-style sliders recreated with Radix UI and Tailwind CSS, and one dropdown shipped in a real Vercel project. Design engineers get candid notes alongside each study, such as why she would not ship the flexible tags container.
