Zed

Zed is a minimal code editor written from scratch in Rust to use multiple CPU cores and the GPU, made by the team behind Atom, Electron and Tree-sitter. It is built for speed and for collaboration with people and AI: parallel agents, agentic editing, edit prediction, real-time pairing with chat and screen sharing, a debugger and native Git, on macOS, Linux and Windows. Its interface is a study in responsiveness, aiming to show each keystroke on the next display refresh.
